Situated approximately two miles from the city centre,
Derby University is a new, modern forward-looking institution set in the
beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Derby is near the centre of England,
which means that London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds are all within
easy reach. The mainline railway station has frequent services to all
these cities and the M1 motorway is only a few miles away.
The University is proud of its fresh and innovative approach to teaching and learning: the atmosphere is relaxed, unstuffy and friendly. The buildings are modern and the University has its own indoor shopping centre in the Kedleston Road campus. The University believes that learning should be an enjoyable experience, but that it should also help you to develop a successful career, so the learning environment provides you with everything you need to develop your academic skills, whilst the leisure environment gives you every opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself. It is therefore appropriate that the University's motto is, "Play hard and work hard". COURSES All courses are BA (Hons) unless otherwise stated
A large number of other courses are available via third year entry. Look at the University web site for more details! APPLICATION FORM Special application procedures apply. Please contact Alan Hallett for further information. UNIVERSITY WEBSITE To find out more about the university look here. |
